The welding performance of Stainless Steel Sheet is mainly reflected in the following three aspects:
(1) High temperature crack: The high temperature crack referred to herein means a crack related to welding. High temperature cracks can be largely divided into agglutination cracks, microcracks, HAZ (heat affected zone) cracks and reheat cracks.
(2) Low-temperature cracking: Low-temperature cracks occasionally occur in martensitic stainless steels and ferritic stainless steels having a martensite structure. Because of its important reason, it is caused by hydrogen diffusion, the level of restraint in the discussion of welding, and the hardened structure. Therefore, it is important to eliminate the diffusion of hydrogen in the welding process, and properly preheat and post-weld heat disposal penalties. Reduce the level of restraint.
(3) Resilience of welding discussion: In the austenitic stainless steel, in order to reduce the sensitivity of high temperature cracking, 5%-10% of ferrite is usually left in the identity plan. However, the presence of these ferrites leads to the fall of low temperature toughness. When welding is performed in duplex stainless steel, the amount of austenite in the welding discussion area is eliminated and the toughness is affected. Others, with the growth of ferrite, the toughness value has a tendency to drop significantly.
